Roof Replacement in Kinston, NC

Another home in Kinston recently received a full roofing system upgrade. What initially began as a chimney leak led to the discovery that the existing roof system had reached the end of its service life. Rather than applying a temporary fix, the homeowners chose to move forward with a complete roofing solution to properly protect the home.

This project included the installation of an Owens Corning Preferred Roofing System in the Owens Corning Black Sable shingles color. As part of the system installation, the existing roof was removed down to the wood deck so the structure could be properly inspected. All new underlayment components were installed, and all roof flashings were replaced, including chimney flashing, pipe boots, and related accessories to ensure long-term leak protection.

The Black Sable color was an easy choice for the homeowner after seeing how well the same color has held up on a neighbor’s roof we installed four years ago.
